When: 13 April 2014 – 27 April 2014

Connecting the past to the present, the 2014 Heritage festival features over 25 exciting activities, lectures and exhibitions to celebrate the stories of the Port Macquarie-Hastings area; and gives you the opportunity to explore the rich history of our local area.

You might want to take an historic graveyard tour, or discover the amazing local archaeology and its importance – and learn what you can do to protect it.

Maybe journeying through some of the earliest homesteads in the region, or unearthing local shipwrecks might be of interest; or possibly just relaxing in an award-winning heritage vineyard.

Whatever you decide, there truly is something for everyone at the festival. The Festival launches at Kendall Town Green on April 13, with a Poets’ Breakfast from 9.00am, opening ceremony from noon, and the unveiling of the Bullock Sculptures from 12.30pm.

The festival guide is available at here. Book your accommodation with us here before we’re all booked out!
